Who are the seahorses?
Established in the heart of sporting tradition in 1946, our rugby league club stands as a testament to resilience, passion, and camaraderie. For nearly eight decades, we have forged a legacy on the field, embodying the grit and determination that define our community.

Our History
1946
The club was founded in 1946, but was short-lived, culminating in its dissolution shortly after.
1968
Following the clubs earlier dissolution, the resurgence took place in 1968 when the club was reformed by Ian Fearnley, rejuvenating interest and membership.
2023
The Woolgoolga Searhorses made history by securing their first ever Grand Final win, commanding 26 to 10 point victory over South Grafton.
2024
In a major development it was announced that Woolgoolga Junior and Senior Rugby League Clubs have officially agreed to become part of and amalgamate with the Wyong Leagues Group.
2024
The 2024 season saw the formation of the Seahorses first women’s tackle team play in the historical first club game of the Group 2 Women’s Tackle rugby league competition.
